 હેલ્પ્સ ફાઉન્ડેશન ની ટીમ સાથે માંડણપુરા પાઠશાળા ના બાળકો દ્વારા રાષ્ટ્રગીત ગવાયું.

 હેલ્પ્સ ફાઉન્ડેશન દ્વારા ‘હેલ્પ્સ પાઠશાળા’ના વિચાર હેઠળ માંડણપૂરાના બાળકોના ગુણવત્તાયુક્ત શિક્ષણ માટે કાર્ય કરવામાં આવે છે. આ સેવાયજ્ઞમાં હેલ્પ્સ ફાઉન્ડેશનના ડૉ. ધીરેન્દ્ર પટેલ, ડૉ. કાજલ પટેલ તથા શિવમભાઈના માર્ગદર્શન હેઠળ અને તેઓની સાથે મીના, યાશ્રી, કરીના, અંજલી અને પથિક જોડાયા હતા.

આયોજન મુજબ પાઠશાળાની શરૂઆત પ્રાર્થનાથી થઈ, અને સૌ બાળકોના શિક્ષણ કાર્યમાં જોડાયા. આ પાઠશાળામાં ૧ થી ૮ ધોરણના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ જોડાય છે. શિક્ષણકાર્ય પૂર્ણ થયા બાદ બાળકોને બિસ્કીટનો નાસ્તો કરાવવામાં આવ્યો. સૌએ ખૂબ જ આનંદથી સાથે બેસીને નાસ્તો કર્યો. સાથે સાથે આજે હેલ્પ્સ ફાઉન્ડેશન દ્વારા તેઓને ચોપડા તથા નોટબૂકનું વિતરણ કરવામાં આવ્યું કે જે તેઓમાં ભણતરની પ્રેરણા જન્માવે અને આગળ વધવામાં મદદરૂપ નીવડે.

'વિશ્વ જળ દિવસ'ની ઉજવણી - 'HELPS પાઠશાળા'ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ સાથે

માંડલપુરા ગામમાં ચાલતો શિક્ષણનો સેવાયજ્ઞ એટલે કે ‘HELPS પાઠશાળા’ નિયમિત રીતે અહીંના બાળકોને ગુણવત્તાસભર શિક્ષણ આપવાની પ્રવૃત્તિ કરી રહી છે, જેમાં હેલ્પ્સ ફાઉન્ડેશનના ડૉ. ધીરેન્દ્ર પટેલ, ડૉ. કાજલ પટેલ તથા મીના, અંજલી, કરીના અને હું (યાશ્રી) ઉત્સાહપૂર્વક પોતાનું યોગદાન આપીએ છીએ. એવું સાંભળ્યું છે કે શિક્ષણ એ લોકોના જીવનને ઉજળું બનાવતું તથા સમગ્ર વિશ્વને પહેલાં કરતાં વધુ ઉન્નત બનાવતું સાધન છે. આ જ વાક્યને અનુસરતા હેલ્પ્સ ફાઉન્ડેશન દ્વારા આ કાર્યની શરૂઆત થઈ છે.

અમારા સમયપત્રકને અનુસરતા અમે સવારે ૧૧ વાગ્યે અમારી નિયત જગ્યા પર હાજર થયા ત્યારે બાળકો અમારી રાહ જોઈ જ રહ્યા હતા. આજે દર વખત કરતા થોડા વધુ ઉત્સાહી જણાતા હતા જેનું કારણ આજની ચિત્ર સ્પર્ધા હતી. સૌપ્રથમ પ્રાર્થનાથી દિવસની શુભ શરૂઆત થઈ અને અમે સૌએ અલગ અલગ ધોરણની શિક્ષણ પ્રવૃત્તિ શરુ કરી. અંજલી ૧ થી ૩ ધોરણ , મીનાબેન ચોથું ધોરણ, કરીના ૫ અને ૬ ધોરણની શિક્ષણ પ્રવૃત્તિ શરુ કરી. આયોજન મુજબ મારે ધોરણ ૭ માં વિજ્ઞાન વિષય લેવાનો હતો જેથી મેં તેની શરૂઆત કરી. બાળકોની પરીક્ષા નજીક આવતી હોવાથી દરેક પાઠના વિકલ્પો, ખાલી જગ્યા અને જોડકાં જેવા નાના નાના પ્રશ્નો પહેલા તૈયાર કરાવવાનાં વિચારથી શિક્ષણકાર્ય શરુ થયું. તેઓને આ પ્રશ્નોમાં જે બાબતો ન સમજાઈ તે સમજાવી.

અગાઉથી બાળકોને જણાવ્યું હતું એ મુજબ આજે એક ચિત્ર સ્પર્ધાનું આયોજન કર્યું હતું, જેનો વિષય ‘વિશ્વ જળ દિવસ’ સંદર્ભે નક્કી કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો. આ સ્પર્ધાનો હેતુ બાળકોની આ શૈક્ષણિક પ્રવૃત્તિ વધુ રસપ્રદ બનાવવા તથા તેમનામાં જાગૃતિ વધારવાનો હતો.  એક જવાબદાર નાગરિક તરીકે આપણી જવાબદારી અગત્યના અને ગંભીર પ્રશ્નો પ્રત્યે સમાજનું ધ્યાન દોરવાની છે, જેમાં સૌથી અસરકારક માધ્યમ બાળકો છે – આપણું આવનારી કાલનું ભવિષ્ય જો જાગૃત અને જવાબદાર હશે તો તેઓ એક સફળ સમાજની આગેવાની કરી શકશે. ચિત્ર સ્પર્ધા માટે સૌ માટે રંગો અને ચિત્ર માટેના કાગળની વ્યવસ્થા કરવામાં આવી હતી, તેઓએ રસપૂર્વક આ સ્પર્ધામા ભાગ લીધો અને વિષય અનુરુપ ચિત્રો દોર્યા અને તેમાં રંગ ભર્યા. દિવસને અંતે બાળકોને ચવાણાનો નાસ્તો કરાવવામાં આવ્યો ત્યારબાદ રાષ્ટ્રગીત ગાઈને અમે સૌ છુટ્ટા પડ્યા. આજનો આ દિવસ બાળકો તથા અમારા માટે ખૂબ યાદગાર રહ્યો અને તેઓ એક શીખ લઈને પોતપોતાના ઘરે ગયા.

Holi Celebration with Mandalpura Children - by Helps Foundation

Under the initiative to provide quality education to the underprivileged students from the villages, HelpsFoundation is working at Mandalpura village to deliver quality based education with the team of - Dr. Dhirendra Patel, Dr. Kajal Patel, Anjali, Meena, Karina and Me (Yashree). As per the schedule we reached there at 11’o clock. The students are quite aware of the routine so they were present on time. Like our routine, we started our day with the prayer to God.    

As all the children were in the mood for celebration of the festival of colors – Holi, we were also prepared for that but after the prayer we followed the schedule, we approached the students by their standards respectively and assigned them their work. Today all the volunteers were working on Mathematics. Basic sums and tables were being discussed. After the study time the celebration started. We served them Dhaani and Khajur (Popcorn and Dates) – specially consumed during Holi. It came to be a very good surprise for them, kids enjoyed the food with their friends. Dates were their favorite, they said it was delicious.  

And now it was the time for us to play Holi. The whole team was very excited to play Holi with the kids. We rubbed Gulal on each others faces and wished them ‘Happy Holi’. American educator David O. McKay Quoted, “True happiness comes only by making others happy.” Today I totally understood the meaning of this line. Children had a beautiful day with colors. Their innocence really made our day. Kids were very happy with Celebration and few of them invited us to join them on the day of Holi. The day ended with few safety instructions for the celebration and best wishes for the festival.
